Beyond Blockchain: Hashgraph – The HBAR Foundation and Tribe Join Forces to Bring Developers a Unique Learning Experience to Support Their Journey Into Web3

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of our collaboration – Beyond Blockchain: Hashgraph, to bridge Web2 developers into Web3 with Tribe, the global blockchain ecosystem builder that connects startups and tech talents with leading opportunities. 

From April to November 2023, Tribe will host a series of programs that will support, guide, and challenge developers to shift the way they think and build projects in Web3. This will enable us to help nurture talented teams building on Hedera and improve their chances of success. 

To kickstart the collaboration, we will be launching the learn-and-earn program on 7th April:

• As the first phase of the collaboration, developers get to work on 9 tailored, exciting guided quests that will equip them with knowledge and essential skills in key developer tools in the Hedera ecosystem. They will also get a taste of what it’s like to create a car-borrowing platform dApp. 
• Developers will get the chance to earn from a prize pool of USD $27,800, with the rewards going to the best and most swift submissions.
• Lasts from 7-25th April.

Following this education period, developers will be invited to the hackathon.

• Developers get the opportunity to level up their tech skills by applying their knowledge to solve real-world problems through building solutions on Hedera. Developers will be able to pick a problem that they are passionate about that falls within the themes of sustainability, DeFi, or asset tokenization. They will then solve the problem by working towards a proof-of-concept.
• Registration period from 21st April - 25th June.
• Hackathon will take place from 26th May - 25th June.

Lastly, developers will be invited to an incubation program:

• In this program, developers will be offered the resources, support, and opportunities that will allow them to polish their projects to become a more viable product. By getting to work with like-minded entrepreneurial devs, and getting technical & business advice from Hedera experts, these projects will be molded into stronger use cases with greater potential for scale.
• The incubator application period is open from 26th June - 4th August.
• The incubator program lasts from 22nd August - 10th November.

This series of programs act as a launchpad for developers looking to explore the Hedera ecosystem, providing them with the training, fundamental knowledge, and skills alongside the provision of opportunities to start working to deploy projects on mainnet.
