The HBAR Foundation is pleased to announce a grant for Evolucio, a company that aims to become the first unified music ecosystem in the NFT and blockchain world. The HBAR Foundation’s assistance will facilitate the launch of Evolucio and Music Battles, the company’s main product, on the Hedera Network.
Founded in 2018, Evolucio aims to be a super app for the music gaming space. It is a single ecosystem with a “play to earn” music NFT mobile game intertwined with a television competition series. The combination of these components enables Evolucio to pioneer a new method of music distribution and monetization for content consumers and creators. Through collaboration with the HBAR Foundation, Evolucio will introduce a crypto “play to earn” and NFT marketplace leveraging the HTS (Hedera Token Service) into its gaming experience to pioneer a new method of music distribution.
Titled Music Battles, this new and dynamic mobile game allows players to compete against each other, leveraging today’s music catalogs to earn both free music plays and real-world prizes. Players are rewarded based on their ability to accurately select which song wins, in head-to-head battles. The mobile game connects with a live music competition series, allowing the viewing audience to vote live for their favourite contestants with the power to overrule even the celebrity judges' decisions .
Led by CEO Daniel Murphy, Evolucio lives at the intersection between music promotion and content distribution. The HBAR Foundation’s assistance will help Evolucio not only in the deployment of music’s first free-to-play and play-to-earn crypto/NFT mobile game on Hedera’s distributed ledger but will also to develop more partnerships in the industry.
The intersection of the real world music competition and the virtual mobile game is made possible through the Hedera Network’s scalability - leveraging the HTS for its P2E mechanism and Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) for decentralized voting. The utilization of these services will enable increased user engagement leading to growth for the Hedera ecosystem.
