REVEL Moments, a live storytelling platform transforming how athletes and fans interact, has become the latest startup to receive support from the HBAR Foundation. REVEL Moments connects athletes and fans through an interactive platform. The grant from the HBAR Foundation will accelerate REVEL Moments’ expansion in the fan engagement market.
REVEL Moments is a two-sided marketplace that allows athletes to intimately connect with fans in a secure, virtual setting, reliving their greatest moments, sharing untold stories, and ultimately building a human connection with the live audience as fans are engaged throughout the experience.
The REVEL Moments marketplace is powered by NFT-based tickets and tradeable experience moments underpinned by a governance token enabled on Hedera. The growing presence of REVEL Moments in the fan engagement market will increase the number of transactions on the Hedera Network and will ultimately contribute to increased adoption of the Network. The global fan engagement market currently has a size of more than $100 billion. REVEL Moments has already been issuing NFT tickets as part of their beta launch and with the public launch imminent there are a number of experiences ready for purchase on the platform with some leading athletes. With the public launch, REVEL Moments will be launching a speaker series with the Detroit Pistons. There has been tremendous response to REVEL Moments from athletes and REVEL Moments is also already working with the following organizations Roc Nation Sports, Priority Sports, VaynerSports, Valiant Sports, QC Sports, the Chicago Sky of the WNBA and recently formed a strategic partnership with the Major League Baseball Players Association.
The core team of REVEL Moments includes co-founders Dean Brody and Ankur Mathur, Abe Alcodray, Head of Experiences, and Dan Meehan, Head of Product. Through HBAR Foundation’s support, REVEL Moments is planning to expand its presence across sports and other entertainment verticals.
