The HBAR Foundation is pleased to announce a grant for Zuse Market, an NFT marketplace built on Hedera that allows secondary sales of NFTs, and also offers a launchpad service for NFT projects building on Hedera. Through HBAR Foundation’s assistance, Zuse aims to become a premier non-fungible token marketplace.
Zuse Market plans to take advantage of the growing global interest in NFTs. The platform offers a wide range of exclusive NFT collections. Since the launch of Zuse Market in February 2022, more than 7.5 million HBAR has been transacted through the platform. Over 1,500,000 HBAR have been transacted via Zuse’s launchpad since its inception. Zuse Market also witnessed a jump in the number of unique buyers and unique sellers on its platform during the last three months.
Leveraging Hedera’s low and predictable fee, the network’s ability to handle large transactions, and its NFT-supportive nature, Zuse Market aims to drive the total HBAR trading volume on the company’s platform. The HBAR Foundation’s grant will support Zuse Market to improve its technology infrastructure and the UI/UX on the site. Moreover, the NFT marketplace will also continue its support for more Hedera NFT projects.
Currently, Zuse uses the HTS to facilitate a secondary marketplace. The seller transfers the NFT to an escrow account, and a listing is created on the site. Once the listing is live, other users are able to purchase the NFT via the site. When users purchase an NFT via Zuse, the NFT is transferred to their account, while the transaction fee is sent to a fee collector account and the remaining amount (minus royalties) is sent to the seller.
Zuse Market has helped 15 NFT projects launch their collections on the Hedera Network. The company is also in talks with several NFT projects on other chains that are interested in launching on Hedera through Zuse Market’s launchpad.
